Saying Goodbye

Today was JD’s last day at the early intervention play group he has been going to.  His birthday isn’t until January 16th but with the holidays they are ending now.  It’s hard to say goodbye.  We have really grown to love the people at Kids on the Move and it’s sad to be moving on to new chapters in JD’s life.

He will be starting pre-school with the school district in January.  I am sure it’s going to be wonderful but we had just all gotten so comfortable with things, change can be hard, especially for Deeds.

We are starting to stall a bit on the fund-raising.  I need to finish one more project before I’m done with school until the new year.  Hopefully that willl give me some time to canvas the community businesses and spread the word some more.  We are thrilled that a local news paper is going to interview us today for an article.  Hopefully it’ll help get the ball rolling again.  I know it will happen in due time, and we are making amazing progress.  I’m thankful for all of you who have been helping us so much.  I’m constantly touched at how many people are giving to 4 Paws in Deeds honor that I don’t even know.
