Did you know that March 26th (this coming Monday) is Purple Day. What is purple day you ask? It’s an international day of awareness for epilepsy. Our entire family will be donning purple in support of not only our little Deeds but all the other amazing people we know struggling with all different kinds of epilepsy. The first time Deeds had a seizure I remember like it was yesterday. It was a Sunday and he was even all dressed for church.

We will be spending the day together as a family, and our first stop of the day will actually be to a neurology appointment we have scheduled for a check up on Deeds, his seizures and meds. I think we may need to find Magpie a purple collar for the day (or maybe a new permanent one)
